?South-East­ern de­tec­tives were last night in­ves­ti­gat­ing the killing of a Rio Claro woman who was found chopped to death at her home. Po­lice said Naila Khan, 26, of Enid Vil­lage, was killed af­ter a dis­pute with a man. It is be­lieved that the man went in­to her home and chopped her re­peat­ed­ly on the head, arms and neck. Around 3 pm, a rel­a­tive went to check on her and found her ly­ing dead in a pool of blood. Her body was viewed by the Dis­trict Med­ical Of­fi­cer who or­dered it re­moved to the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre.

A source said Khan was pre­vi­ous­ly em­ployed at S&S Per­sad Gro­cery in Rio Claro. How­ev­er, she left the job af­ter a dis­pute with a col­league. Last night, po­lice were search­ing for Guyanese na­tion­al who had in­for­ma­tion with re­gards to the killing. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion can con­tact Crime Stop­pers at 800-TIPS.
