Gang members attack patient at Grande hospital

Chaos broke out at Sangre Grande District Hospital yesterday, when members of a gang stormed the facility and reportedly attacked a patient at the casualty department. The incident happened moments after an opposing gang went on a rampage at Quash Trace Extension, setting several homes afire. Patients, as well as doctors and nurses, had to scamper for safety, as approximately seven men and one woman stormed the facility and attacked a 24-year-old man. At the time of the incident, the patient who is now under police guard was being treated for injuries he sustained during the fracas at Quash Trace Extension. The man, who was stabbed about the neck, back and hands, was reportedly identified as one of the suspects involved in the incident at Quash Trace.
Police officers rushed to the medical facility to quell the disturbance. By the time officers arrived, the majority of trouble-makers had fled. Officers of the Eastern Division said the incident stemmed from a feud between members of two gangs, known as “The Gaza” and “The Gully,” in the Sangre Grande district. According to police, around 12.30 am, members of one of the gangs went to Quash Trace and began hurling Molotov cocktails at the homes of several residents. The gang was also accused of vandalising a vehicle in the area. The incident, police said, stemmed from an earlier argument.
A house belonging to Kevin Mohammed, police said, was destroyed by fire during the melee, while Mohammed was seeking medical attention at the Sangre Grande Hospital. He was chopped and “planassed.” While Mohammed was at the Sangre Grande Police Station making a report about the fire to his home, police received a report that a group of men pushed down staff members at the hospital and attacked a patient. Police said boulders and other objects were thrown at opposing gang members and several people were “planassed,” while three people were chopped in the earlier incident. A team of officers from the Eastern Division Task Force and CID, headed by Sgt Beverly Paul and PC Osuna, visited the scene. Investigations are continuing.

Trinidad gone to the dogs!!!! when 'gang members' walk into the hospital with sick people inorder to 'get their man" this is crazy, trinidad act like they under the operation of the 'flintstone' cop regime!!!!!! i have no words...dont know if I want to come back home to live, dont feel like doing battle....
While I'm no rocket
While I'm no rocket scientist or do I possess any investigative skills, I am sure that police intelligence can pinpoint who these gang leaders are and where they meet.
What's the big deal in exterminating these cockroaches in one clean sweep?
Shut down all cellular sites throughout T&T, make one orchestrated and very clean sweep, and eradicate this nagging problem.

The Trinidad's killing spree problems are to do with cocaine, and you know what cocaine does to the legal framework of a country, the mafia infiltrates the police and legal systems way up to the top. Who is Mr Big? Does the police know this guy?. Need attack this head on or Trinidad will become like Colombia. Why are the Americans not offering help here?
I see the name Mr Big has
I see the name Mr Big has surfaced once again. I love looking at old time tv shows and I saw that the main villan in Rocky and Bullwinkle is a character by the name of Mr Big. I think your prime minister build his speeches from tv and music. I once heard a speech that sounded like lyrics to a song done by Bruce Hornsby and the range. Maybe, That's just the way it is.
