We had some trouble last week with these criminals. There was a party on our street, and it looked like the resident invited the entire of Laventille, Morvant, Malick, Maloney, La Horquetta, etc. In short, ghetto as hell. lol The entire street was lined with all kinds of bling cars, and the characters partying in the street (where else do ghetto people hang out when they go to a "house" party? steups). I thought it looked like they were scoping out the area, cause you come to a house party but you're liming 7 houses away down the street? Come on.

I said that night that we would see a spate of robberies in the area in about 2 weeks. Cause now that the miscreants have seen the nice neighbourhood with the nice cars and unfenced manicured lawns, they will definitely pass back and hit the area. I'm sure before that party most of them didn't know the residential community existed.

Well I was off by 10 days, cause they hit about 6 houses on the street FOUR DAYS after the party. But we have security patrols, neighbourhood watch and police pass by regularly. So they were caught off guard in the act of trying to saw through the burglar proof gates at the back of the townhouses. The police were quite prompt and arrived in time to chase if not catch them. Well done to them, much thanks.

But you see the type of mentality we're dealing with in this country? And all of this because someone moved out and sold their house to some ghetto people who because of their stores and god knows what other business have a little money and want to move up and go live in a 'nice area', but fail to leave the ghetto behind them. And yes I know it was the guests of this party hitting us because it is too much of a coincidence that we hadn't had any problems in the area for about a year yet 3 days after this party we had a gang of thieves moving en masse through the street.

Listen to me members of the Police service, if you have a clear shot take it! Clean the land of these animals whose sole purpose is to stress out hard working people.

Great job by the officers involved. It appears that another citizen saw what was going on and called the police. This end came about because someone decided to get involved and call the police. This is the only way to control crime in TNT - public cooperation with the police - tell them where the crooks are hiding and what they doing!!!!!

He collapsed at Navet Road where he should have also died and his next journey would then have been to the MORGUE. Who would have taken that bastard to hospital to receive medical treatment that is destined for law-abiding citizens only? How shameful!

NO MERCY FOR CRIMINALS
This investigation should not take long at all.Simple questions:Was he killed while committing a violent crime?Did he have a gun?Did he use that said gun to fire at the police.If YES to all,then case closed.Don't waste the public time and funds,their are other criminals like him and in suits a ties that needs to be eliminated.

Why are you attempting to blame this bandit's father, a policeman, for his son's criminal behavior? As they say: "you make a child, you don't make their mind". Who knows, this bandit's father could have been the best parent one could ask for, yet friends and other bad company or associations could have led him to a deadly life of crime.

I am just glad that the police were so effective in their response to this ghastedly act being perpetrated on this family. I am just sorry that the second bandit got away. Maybe now, he will think twice about his chosen career as robber and bandit after seeing what has happened to his "pardner". Crime does not pay and could in the end, be "deadly". Good going though cops: One less criminal to torment the innocent people of TT.

They have to revisit the selection process to become a police officer.
This father clearly did not have very much to offer in terms of parenting.
There was a time in the police service, when officers slept with and made children with women in most district they were stationed.Those same officers are now senior officers.No wounder the police service is in such a mess.You can take a pig out off the mud but not the mud out off the pig.

These day I reading and hearing good news about the police officers even the commissioner up and running keep the good news coming and dont forget to bring in the New Commissioner quickly. Because of him they start to work or else nothing doing they want to make themselves look good when he gets here

The police must be commended for their swift response and we must be grateful that the innocent family that was being robbed and terrorised, and also the police officers involved in their rescue, were not physically hurt by these cockroaches. This is how it must be when you go out with guns to rob, kidnap and kill innocent people the bandits should die instead. Why is there so much crime and robbery in this country when there is URP, CEPEP, MUST, GATE, smart card, school feeding program, free houses; extra jobs at State agencies like WASA. On top of it all the private sector cannot get people to work and have unfilled vacancies and yet so many rob and kill instead of trying to get a job. It is only when crime becomes high risk will the crime rate go down so firm and draconian action is needed to protect the innocent and make T&T safe again. It is time to make sure the criminals die instead of the innocents.
