An Ari­ma man con­tin­ued to fight for his life up to late yes­ter­day, af­ter a bru­tal cut­lass at­tack on Tues­day. Ronald Abra­ham, 21, was chopped on his head, face, hands and oth­er parts of his body, dur­ing an ar­gu­ment with the as­sailant. Po­lice sources said Abra­ham, of Ready Mix Road, Gua­napo, Ari­ma, went to the home of the at­tack­er whom he knew, around 8.30 am to re­trieve a saw.

Abra­ham and the man re­port­ed­ly got in­to an ar­gu­ment, dur­ing which the man pulled out a cut­lass and be­gan chop­ping him. He was tak­en to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex in Mt Hope, where he re­mained ward­ed up to late yes­ter­day. The sus­pect was lat­er held at his home in San Raphael. Po­lice al­so seized a weapon cut­lass. He is ex­pect­ed to be charged to­day.
