The po­lice have made no ar­rests in con­nec­tion with the theft of sev­er­al items be­long­ing to so­ca su­per­star Ian "Bun­ji Gar­lin" Al­varez. Five ICD flat screen tele­vi­sion sets were re­port­ed­ly stolen from Al­varez's home at the "Or­chards" in Mar­aval.

A re­port said that on De­cem­ber 2, Al­varez had the tele­vi­sions moved to his home which is cur­rent­ly un­der con­struc­tion. When the en­ter­tain­er checked last Wednes­day around 3.30 pm, the items were miss­ing. The items were val­ued at $42,000, po­lice said.

Two men were sub­se­quent­ly held by the po­lice for ques­tion­ing.

Search war­rants were is­sued at the hous­es of the two sus­pects but failed to yield any clues as to the stolen items. PC Mar­celle of the Mar­aval Po­lice is con­tin­u­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tions. At­tempts to con­tact Al­varez or his wife, Faye Ann Lyons, proved fu­tile.
