A 47-year-old man has lost his life in a drown­ing in­ci­dent.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, Rafael Alexan­der was at Los Iros beach on Car­ni­val Tues­day, when at about 6:30 pm, he be­gan ex­pe­ri­enc­ing dif­fi­cul­ties in the wa­ter.

He went un­der and his body resur­faced this morn­ing.

Fam­i­ly and friends gath­ered at the beach this morn­ing.
