Police arrested a 24-year-old suspect who allegedly attacked his employer while at his workplace in Rio Claro.
In a TTPS release yesterday, the police said at 11 am on Sunday, a proprietor was seated on a chair in his office at his business place when one of his employees entered and began attacking him with a cutlass.
The business owner, police were told, sustained serious injuries to the back of his neck and his left hand.
The suspect then ran off.
Neighbours assisted the injured proprietor, who was taken for medical treatment at a health facility and later discharged.
A report was later made at the Rio Claro Police Station and an investigation was immediately launched, which resulted in the arrest of a 24-year-old suspect from Rio Claro and the seizure of a weapon believed to have been used in the alleged assault.
