A fire which start­ed yes­ter­day in the vicin­i­ty of the For­res Park Land­fill has been con­tained  

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from SWM­COL, its emer­gency re­sponse team con­duct­ed air qual­i­ty test­ing last evening and ear­ly this morn­ing with­in near­by com­mu­ni­ties and the read­ing has not ex­ceed­ed the nor­mal pa­ra­me­ters. 

Notwith­stand­ing SWM­COL is ask­ing res­i­dents es­pe­cial­ly those with res­pi­ra­to­ry con­di­tions to ex­er­cise cau­tion due to in­ter­mit­tent smoke em­a­nat­ing from the site.
