A 27-year-old labourer was shot dead in Fyzabad on Thursday night.
Police said Angel Williams, of Dubarry Street, off Dehli Road, lived not too far from where he was killed.
Residents said they heard several loud explosions around 8.40 pm and called the police.
When the police arrived, they found Williams’ lifeless body on the ground at the corner of Khan Street and Dehli Road with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police recovered 35 spent shells and three live rounds of 9mm ammunition at the scene.
When contacted by Guardian Media, Williams’ mother and aunt declined to comment on his murder.
