Education Minister Anthony Garcia says the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) examinations will go on as planned on August 20, despite media reports that the date is yet to be decided.
Speaking while on tour at the Aranguez North Secondary school on Wednesday morning, Garcia was emphatic that the exam will go on as scheduled.
He said despite grumblings from the T&T Unified Teachers Association that students will not be prepared for the exam, he is confident that those teachers will do what is necessary to prepare their charges. Garcia said 19,000 students will sit the exam.
