In the midst of a growing H1N1 virus threat at Grant Memorial Presbyterian School, a 15-year-old student of the Penal Junior Secondary School died yesterday from what is believed to be dengue fever. According to reports, Moonilal Toolsiesingh, of SS Erin Road Debe, complained to his parents on Wednesday that he was not well, and began to vomit.
The Form Four student was taken to a doctor in Penal and then sent home.
He reportedly fell asleep around 9.30 pm, and throughout the night and early morning, his parents repeatedly checked on him. However, when they went to check on him around 9 am yesterday, they discovered him dead. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed today. (CC)
In Manning vision 20/20 this
In Manning vision 20/20 this is ok, I wonder if is Manning 20/20 vision or the sorceress vision, because I know Hazel just there for the ride.
Where is the continuing
Where is the continuing health education, and on-going attention being paid to our infrastructure? No one should be dying of dengue fever in T&T anymore. Aren't our doctors fully equipped with the necessary information to identify potential problems?
Our health department and others should be on the job, especially during times of heavy rains causing stagnant waters and breeding places for mosquitoes.
Hmmm, Gardenia it seems
Hmmm, Gardenia it seems you've upset a doctor....
People around the world are afflicted with H1N1 while Trinidad still have dengue to deal with... what next? Cholera?
Ooh Health MinistAH Jerry Narace, I'm glad you think you've earned your pay check. I'm glad after reading articles like this you have some overwhelming feeling of accomplishment that you have done your country and your Government a good service. That you have served your purpose in this world. That when you go to sleep at night you dream of nothing but daffodils and lollipops. It's no wonder you and the rest of this government are under the impression that a conscious is a type of milk.
I was going to say there is always election time for the public to repay the gratitude by voting you out, but as history shows our people are not ready for that tribute...
