The Port Authority says effective November 22 to 30, berths three, four, five and six at the Port of Port-of-Spain will not be available.

A release issued yesterday said this was because of the hosting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Port-of-Spain from November 27 to 29. It added that container/car vessel operations, as well as receiving and delivery would continue as normal, except for the period 7 am to 11 pm on November 28, which is Union Day. The port would be closed on that day, the release added.

The Authority said with respect to haulage operations, part of Wrightson Road will be closed on November 27 and there would be traffic diversions.
