?Of­fi­cers at­tached to the Ri­ot Squad and the Task Force were called in yes­ter­day to main­tain law and or­der at the docks of the pris­on­ers' cell, at the San Fer­nan­do Mag­is­trates' Court. Court mat­ters were de­layed for more than three hours while more than two dozen of­fi­cers were seen stand­ing guard in and around the hold­ing bay. One pris­on­er, Gre­go­ry Charles sus­tained a cut over his eye. Two of­fi­cers, PC Ali and PC Pe­dro, were al­so in­jured in the melee. Sec­ond Court Mag­is­trate, Alexan­der Prince ap­peared in his court and told peo­ple who had mat­ters in the court: "Some­thing had hap­pened down­stairs. The po­lice are treat­ing with cer­tain things down­stairs. So the court will re­sume at 11.30, we are just wait­ing for the po­lice to get things un­der con­trol." (IF)
