?The National Union of Government and Federated Workers (NUGFW) is embarking on a campaign, led by its president general James Lambert, to raise funds in aid of those affected by Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti.ded. In a news release yesterday Lambert said: "It is in times such as these we really stop to consider the true value of human life and we appreciate the blessing that God has bestowed upon us.
"Our brothers and sisters in Haiti need our help at this time and the NUGFW is answering the call." The union is calling on members and interested persons to make any contribution to the NUGFW "Help Haiti Fund" at the union's head office, corner of Francis and Smart Streets, St Augustine. The deadline for all contributions is January 31, the release added.
