Jeunes Agapes, the youthful southern choir competing in the Sacred Music category of the 29th biennial music festival at the Naparima Bowl trounced the other competitors with their rendition of the Test Piece Panis Angelicus.

South Music Festival adjudicator Jan Harrington applauded the two for their performance and described it as really touching. In class 2f1, Chamber Music Duet winners–Stephanus Ramgattie and Daron Roberts played–The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba with a rich and mesmerising quality while Navid Babwah won the steel pan solo playing The Overture to the Barber of Seville.
