A relative of ex-Udecott chairman Calder Hart said yesterday that Hart was expected home in about three weeks. Hart left T&T more than three weeks ago, after resigning from the Udecott board and other state boards on which he served. They said Hart, a two-time cancer survivor, was now undergoing medical check-ups overseas.
A family spokesman also said that no one was present at the Hart's Cascade home when police officers arrived around 7 am yesterday. The spokesman questioned media presence which they claimed "came speedily on the heels of the police arrival." (GA)
