A rel­a­tive of ex-Ude­cott chair­man Calder Hart said yes­ter­day that Hart was ex­pect­ed home in about three weeks. Hart left T&T more than three weeks ago, af­ter re­sign­ing from the Ude­cott board and oth­er state boards on which he served. They said Hart, a two-time can­cer sur­vivor, was now un­der­go­ing med­ical check-ups over­seas.

A fam­i­ly spokesman al­so said that no one was present at the Hart's Cas­cade home when po­lice of­fi­cers ar­rived around 7 am yes­ter­day. The spokesman ques­tioned me­dia pres­ence which they claimed "came speed­i­ly on the heels of the po­lice ar­rival." (GA)
