A total of 40 recipients will tonight receive national awards for varying service to T&T. For the first time, the award ceremony will be held at Queen's Hall, Port-of-Spain.
Four recipients–former government minister and Caricom Ambassador Kamalludin Mohammed, former attorney general Karl Hudson-Phillips QC, Pundit Krishna Maharaj former spiritual leader of the SDMS and former senate president Wahid Ali (posthumously) are to receive the Order of T&T.
