Works and Trans­port Min­is­ter Jack Warn­er says for­mer prime min­is­ter Patrick Man­ning should be held re­spon­si­ble and pun­ished for the il­le­gal wire­tap­ping of some of the coun­try's most promi­nent fig­ures. He said: "I be­lieve if it's any­body to pun­ished it should be Mr Patrick Man­ning and all those who sup­port him.

How Mr Man­ning could do that to the coun­try is be­yond me." Re­gard­ing his fam­i­ly be­ing wire­tapped, Warn­er said: "I am still very an­gry, I am bit­ter. I am aware I was be­ing tapped, I didn't know my fam­i­ly was. I'm a pub­lic fig­ure, I un­der­stand me be­ing tapped, but my fam­i­ly? How do you jus­ti­fy that?"
