For­mer pres­i­dent Sir El­lis Clarke has left hos­pi­tal and is back at home to con­tin­ue his re­cov­ery, sources close to the for­mer pres­i­dent said yes­ter­day.

Sir El­lis was re­leased short­ly be­fore lunchtime yes­ter­day. He spent just un­der three weeks at West­shore Med­ical in Co­corite af­ter he suf­fered a stroke.

Arrange­ments have been made for con­tin­ued med­ical at­ten­tion to be giv­en to him at his Fair­ways, Mar­aval, home. Sir El­lis is ex­pect­ed to cel­e­brate his 93rd birth­day on De­cem­ber 28.
