A San­gre Grande teenag­er was stabbed to death af­ter an ar­gu­ment with a man on Car­ni­val Tues­day night.

Po­lice said 18-year-old Prince Charles was lim­ing on the East­ern Main Road at 10.30 pm when he got in­to an ar­gu­ment with a man. The ar­gu­ment es­ca­lat­ed in­to a fight, and dur­ing the scuf­fle, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed Charles in the chest be­fore run­ning away.

Po­lice re­spond­ed and took Charles to the San­gre Grande Hos­pi­tal, where doc­tors de­clared him dead at 10.49 pm.

Of­fi­cers from the Re­gion II Homi­cide Bu­reau are con­tin­u­ing their en­quiries.
