The Ministry of Health has announced a nationwide recall of Tyson Chicken Strip products with a Best-If-Used-By-Date of November 30 because they may be contaminated with pieces of metal.
In a release yesterday, officials said the directive had been issued by Tyson Foods Inc. in conjunction with the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service-to recall approximately 69,000 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken strip products with the establishment number P-7221 on the back of the package.
Wholesalers were advised to voluntarily recall this product with immediate effect.
