Five homes are sink­ing and sev­er­al oth­ers are crack­ing due to land move­ment at two Hous­ing De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion (HDC) com­mu­ni­ties at Gomez Trace, St Mary's Vil­lage, Moru­ga.

Res­i­dents of Ridgeview Hous­ing De­vel­op­ment Phase One and Two say they have made nu­mer­ous com­plaints to HDC but noth­ing is be­ing done to save their homes.

At least one home­own­er who has been liv­ing at Phase One for the past eight years is call­ing to be re­lo­cat­ed.

Ste­fan Bram­ble be­lieves that the dam­age to his home is now ir­repara­ble and it has be­come in­hab­it­able.

Bram­ble and his neigh­bour Roger Guevero said they have al­ready spent close to $300,000 in re­pairs, but the dam­age keeps re­oc­cur­ring and more cracks are ap­pear­ing.
