A woman found her hus­band dead in their un­fin­ished house in Princes Town last evening af­ter he failed to pick up their son from school. Po­lice be­lieve Ron­nie Ho­sein was mur­dered fol­low­ing a dis­pute.

Ho­sein, 45, was an elec­tri­cian and in­stru­ment tech­ni­cian. His wife told po­lice that around 7:10 am on Mon­day, she left him at their home and went to work. She last spoke with him on his cell­phone around 9 am. How­ev­er, she said that around 4:20 pm, her son's teacher called her be­cause her hus­band had not picked him up from school. She tried call­ing him and went to her sis­ter-in-law's home in search of him.

Around 5:15 pm, the woman and her sis­ter-in-law went to Ba­boolal Trace, Garth Road, where she and her hus­band have a two-storey house un­der con­struc­tion. She saw her hus­band's Hon­da Civic parked on the road­way with a bunch of keys on the front seat. Up­on en­ter­ing the house, they found him ly­ing on the floor of a bath­room on the ground floor in a pool of blood.

The body was re­moved to the mor­tu­ary pend­ing an au­top­sy at the Foren­sic Sci­ence Cen­tre in Port-of-Spain. Of­fi­cers from the Homi­cide Re­gion 3 are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
