KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is reintroducing its seasonal flights to Bridgetown, Barbados, and Georgetown, Guyana, for the winter 2025 season.
The airline said that starting on October 26, 2025, and running through March 26, 2026, travellers will once again be able to enjoy three weekly flights to these stunning Caribbean and South American destinations aboard KLM’s state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
This seasonal route will connect Amsterdam with Bridgetown, one of the Caribbean’s most charming and culturally rich cities, before continuing on to Georgetown, the vibrant capital of Guyana.
KLM previously offered this combination during the 2021 and 2022 winter seasons, and the airline’s decision to bring it back is driven by increasing demand for both leisure and business travel to these regions.
The flight, designated as KL783, will depart from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 09:35 am.
The first leg of the journey will land in Bridgetown (BGI) at 13:35 local time, with a brief layover before continuing on to Georgetown (GEO) at 15:05, arriving at 16:40.
The return flight from Georgetown will depart at 18:00 and arrive back in Amsterdam the following morning at 08:00.
KLM said its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner is equipped to provide a premium travel experience with a variety of seating options.
The aircraft includes 30 seats in World Business Class, 21 seats in Premium Comfort, and 224 seats in Economy Class, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.
KLM noted that Barbados, a well-visited destination in the Caribbean, is an important market for KLM, making it an exciting new addition to the airline’s network.
Known for its beautiful beaches, rich culture, and welcoming climate, Bridgetown is an ideal getaway for those looking to escape the cold European winter.
KLM previously operated flights to Bridgetown in the winter seasons of 2021 and 2022.”
Prior to the route being temporarily removed from their network, KLM operated the flight with an onward stop to Port-of- Spain, Trinidad.
Georgetown, on the other hand, is a growing economic hub in northern South America, making it an attractive destination for business travellers in addition to leisure tourists.
This dual-destination service not only brings sun-drenched vacations to passengers but also enhances regional connectivity, further expanding KLM’s reach in the Caribbean and South America.
Besides Curacao, KLM mostly operates Airbus A330-200s to its Caribbean destinations, sometimes upgrading to their larger A330-300s (and Boeing 777-200s to the ABC islands) during peak travel periods.
