A midnight swim after an argument has lead to one Diego Martin man losing his life.
Ricardo Chinnon, 58, of Term Drive, drowned in Chaguaramas early on Tuesday.
Police were told the Chinnon went into the waters off the Boardwalk at around 12:30 am, moments after having an argument with a relative.
As he swam further out he reportedly got into difficulty and his relative lost sight of him.
He then resurfaced in the shallow water of the bay.
When it was realised he was not breathing, emergency services were called to the scene.
He was however pronounced dead at the scene.
Carenage Police are continuing investigations into the incident.
