Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the death of Matthew Th­er­oulde, 59, who died on Tues­day af­ter a ve­hi­cle fell on him dur­ing re­pairs.

Th­er­oulde was work­ing un­der a car at his home on Priz­gar Road, San Juan, when the jack slipped, caus­ing his Toy­ota Corol­la to fall and pin him.

Neigh­bours re­moved him from un­der the ve­hi­cle and took him to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex, where he suc­cumbed to his in­juries.

Of­fi­cers from the North East­ern Di­vi­sion re­spond­ed.
