Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the dis­cov­ery of a burnt body tied to a tree in Princes Town yes­ter­day, be­lieved to be that of miss­ing man Matthew Brodouille.

Po­lice said Brodouille, 38, of Per­sad Street, Princes Town, was found by fam­i­ly mem­bers at a pond near his home around 2.30 pm.

Ac­cord­ing to Sham’s Hunters Search and Res­cue, Brodouille was last seen by rel­a­tives on De­cem­ber 16 last year around 9 pm.

His wal­let and cell phone were found out­side his home.

They sub­se­quent­ly made a miss­ing per­son re­port at the Princes Town Po­lice Sta­tion.
