Bhag­wans­ingh’s and Dansteel are among the lat­est re­tail stores who are opt­ing to close their doors al­to­geth­er un­til May 23, the fi­nal day of the cur­rent COVID-19 lock­down.

All lo­ca­tions for both Bhag­wans­ingh’s and Dansteel Ltd will be closed from Sat­ur­day 15th to Sun­day 23rd May 2021, ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease is­sued on Thurs­day.

“The health and safe­ty of our loy­al cus­tomers and the well­be­ing of our staff re­mains a top pri­or­i­ty for us at Bhag­wans­ingh’s and Dansteel,” the re­lease stat­ed, not­ing that the com­pa­nies have been close­ly mon­i­tor­ing the in­creased spike in the Coro­n­avirus (COVID-19) cas­es in the coun­try.

It added: “As we stand in sol­i­dar­i­ty with the gov­ern­ment and the peo­ple of Trinidad and To­ba­go in this un­cer­tain and chal­leng­ing pe­ri­od, we urge cit­i­zens to please STAY AT HOME!”

Mean­while, Al­lied Home Cen­tre al­so has in­di­cat­ed its in­ten­tion to close its stores from to­day, Fri­day 14th May, up to the fi­nal day of the cur­rent lock­down, Sun­day May 23rd.

"As we stand in sol­i­dar­i­ty with the Gov­ern­ment and the peo­ple of Trinidad and To­ba­go in this Pan­dem­ic Pe­ri­od, we im­plore cit­i­zens to STAY AT HOME!" the com­pa­ny said in an of­fi­cial state­ment in its so­cial me­dia pages.

The com­pa­ny added: "We at Al­lied Home Cen­tre are con­cerned about our loy­al cus­tomers and the safe­ty of our staff who are very im­por­tant to us, and in do­ing so please stay safe and see you all soon!"
