Bhagwansingh’s and Dansteel are among the latest retail stores who are opting to close their doors altogether until May 23, the final day of the current COVID-19 lockdown.
All locations for both Bhagwansingh’s and Dansteel Ltd will be closed from Saturday 15th to Sunday 23rd May 2021, according to a news release issued on Thursday.
“The health and safety of our loyal customers and the wellbeing of our staff remains a top priority for us at Bhagwansingh’s and Dansteel,” the release stated, noting that the companies have been closely monitoring the increased spike in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the country.
It added: “As we stand in solidarity with the government and the people of Trinidad and Tobago in this uncertain and challenging period, we urge citizens to please STAY AT HOME!”
Meanwhile, Allied Home Centre also has indicated its intention to close its stores from today, Friday 14th May, up to the final day of the current lockdown, Sunday May 23rd.
"As we stand in solidarity with the Government and the people of Trinidad and Tobago in this Pandemic Period, we implore citizens to STAY AT HOME!" the company said in an official statement in its social media pages.
The company added: "We at Allied Home Centre are concerned about our loyal customers and the safety of our staff who are very important to us, and in doing so please stay safe and see you all soon!"
