Additional security lights have been installed for Carnival at the Queen's Park Savannah.
A statement from the T&T Electricity Commission (TTEC) said the commission has installed special lighting around the North Park and “Tarmac” at the Savannah.
Minister of Public Utilities Robert Le Hunte andMinister of Community Development, Culture and the Arts Nyan Gadsby-Dolly are expected to switch on the newly-installed lights prior to the Carnival King and Queen competition at 6:30 pm today.
Also expected to attend are chairman of the National Carnival Commission (NCC) Winston Gypsy Peters, T&TEC’s chairman Keith Sirju and other Carnival stakeholders.
