A Morvant man who was accustomed to asking for help from residents was killed this morning.
The killing took place at Superville Hill, Chinapoo, Morvant around 8 am.
Although details are still emerging, the victim who was said to be known only as Muslim, was shot multiple times.
Residents reported hearing gunfire and emerged to find his bloody body lying in the road.
He is believed to be in his 60s.
One woman said he would normally move around the area early to collect food and whatever money people handed over, before heading back home to his wife.
