The Ministry of National Security has welcomed Marvin Gonzales as the new Minister of National Security, expressing confidence in his leadership to enhance law enforcement and public safety efforts.
Gonzales, the Member of Parliament for Lopinot/Bon Air West, replaces Fitzgerald Hinds in the post. In a statement, the Ministry praised Gonzales’ experience and dedication, noting that his leadership will play a critical role in strengthening national security.
“The Ministry of National Security extends its heartfelt congratulations to Minister Gonzales,” the statement read. “We are confident that his stewardship will contribute to the continued safety and security of our nation.”
The Ministry also thanked Hinds for his service, recognising his commitment to public safety and national development during his tenure.
Gonzales assumes the role at a time when law enforcement agencies are working to combat crime and enhance national security measures. The Ministry expressed its support for his leadership and pledged to work alongside him to build safer communities.
