The Office of the Prime Minister has confirmed that Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley received his second dose of the Sinopharm vaccine at the Scarborough Health Centre yesterday.
Confirmation came via a brief post on the PM’s social media pages.
“Today, Primary Care Nurse Manager, Kathy Ann Greenidge-Ottley, administered the shot. Dr Tiffany Hoyte, Tobago’s Acting County Medical Officer, was also present,” it stated.
Rowley received his first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine at the Diego Martin Health Centre on July 13, 2021.
The Prime Minister was due to be inoculated in April when the nation received its first batch of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines through the COVAX facility.
However, he tested positive for the virus days before he got the jab.
Rowley has followed medical advice, which stated that he’d be able to get vaccinated three months after his recovery.
