The Po­lice Ser­vice Com­mis­sion is re­mind­ing the pub­lic that there is still time to re­spond to its 2020 Pub­lic Trust, Con­fi­dence and Sat­is­fac­tion Sur­vey of the Po­lice Ser­vice.

The com­mis­sion said the on­line sur­vey which be­gan on Oc­to­ber 14, is an im­por­tant tool used to ful­fil its man­date of mon­i­tor­ing the ef­fi­cien­cy and ef­fec­tive­ness of the Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice and Deputy Com­mis­sion­ers of Po­lice in the dis­charge of their func­tions.

The com­mis­sion said to en­cour­age the pub­lic to re­spond to the sur­vey, it has col­lab­o­rat­ed with gov­ern­ment min­istries and agen­cies as well as pub­lic sec­tor or­ga­ni­za­tions, to make the sur­vey avail­able on as many web­sites and so­cial me­dia plat­forms as pos­si­ble.

Wide­spread pub­lic re­sponse to this sur­vey is im­por­tant for iden­ti­fy­ing the ar­eas in the Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice that are work­ing well, and those ar­eas which re­quire im­prove­ment in en­sur­ing the safe­ty and se­cu­ri­ty of the peo­ple of T&T.
