Police say arrest in rape investigation is imminent

Two sus­pects are ex­pect­ed to be de­tained for ques­tion­ing in con­nec­tion with an al­leged rape of a 34-year-old woman on Fri­day.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, the vic­tim al­leged that she and her friend were at a bar in Val­sayn when they met the two men, who are re­lat­ed to each oth­er.

The vic­tim said af­ter a few drinks to­geth­er they left the bar around 9.30 pm and went to a guest house in the St He­le­na area.

She al­leged that she and one of the men went up­stairs to a room, then the oth­er sus­pect al­leged­ly came up to the room min­utes af­ter. She said she was raped by both of them.

Po­lice said the sus­pects have been iden­ti­fied as a 33-year-old man from San­ta Rosa and a 29-year-old man of Ari­ma. They are ex­pect­ed to be ar­rest­ed soon.
