Ch­agua­nas West MP Jack Warn­er will stay clear from clash­ing with Op­po­si­tion Leader Bas­deo Pan­day when he vis­its his (Warn­er's) con­stituen­cy to­day. Pan­day is ex­pect­ed to meet Warn­er's con­stituents from the of­fice of deputy may­or Or­lan­do Nages­sar to­day.

Warn­er, who is al­so Fi­fa vice pres­i­dent, is in Nige­ria on an in­spec­tion tour to en­sure that the sta­di­ums would be ready for the Un­der -17 World Cup in Oc­to­ber. Warn­er, in a tele­phone in­ter­view yes­ter­day said he was pay­ing no at­ten­tion to Pan­day. Warn­er said he had no in­ten­tion of com­ing face-to-face with Pan­day. Warn­er said, "I am in Nige­ria. I have ab­solute­ly no in­ten­tion of stop­ping him."

Un­fazed by ru­mours that a med­ical prac­ti­tion­er would al­so be ac­com­pa­ny­ing Pan­day, Warn­er said, "Let him put up a sign stat­ing po­lit­i­cal prac­ti­tion­er. Let him hire a maxi and bring peo­ple I am not both­ered. I am not in­ter­est­ed." How­ev­er, Warn­er said Pan­day should be pre­pared for when he opened up an of­fice in his (Pan­day's) Cou­va North con­stituen­cy on Au­gust 14. "That is what he should be pre­pared for...I am not both­ered oth­er­wise," Warn­er said.
