?Leader of the Op­po­si­tion Bas­deo Pan­day says the "so called" list of schol­ar­ship re­cip­i­ents, which the Min­istry of Com­mu­ni­ty De­vel­op­ment, Cul­ture and Gen­der Af­fairs was fored to pro­duced fol­low­ing a di­rec­tive from the courts, "reeks of se­cre­cy, cor­rup­tion and lies." Pan­day, in a news re­lease yes­ter­day, said: "When the mat­ter of the schol­ar­ships was raised in Par­lia­ment by the Op­po­si­tion, Min­is­ter Mar­lene Mc Don­ald re­fused to di­vulge in­for­ma­tion." Pan­day said he was now re­quest­ing the names of peo­ple who re­ceived hous­es un­der the HDC and the re­cip­i­ents of loans through NED­CO al­so must be re­vealed.
