?I, Carl Khan, of #2 Cal­cut­ta Set­tle­ment Road, Freeport, in the is­land of Trinidad, poul­try farmer/busi­ness­man, solemn­ly de­clare as fol­lows:

I was mar­ried to Lee Soh Wah, al­so called Soh Wah Lee Khan, al­so called Sher­rine Lee Hart, al­so called Sher­rine Soh Wah Lee Hart on the 31st De­cem­ber 1997. We resided to­geth­er at #2 Cal­cut­ta Set­tle­ment Road, Freeport afore­said. We di­vorced on the 1st May, 2000. Be­fore my mar­riage to Mrs Hart, I had known her for 17 years, hav­ing first met and gone to high school with her at the Greak Lakes Col­lege, in Toron­to, Cana­da. I went to school there for sev­en months from Jan­u­ary to Au­gust 1980. I am a cit­i­zen of Trinidad and To­ba­go. I first be­came aware of the Com­mis­sion of In­quiry in­to the con­struc­tion in­dus­try when it was pub­lished in the dai­ly news­pa­pers on or about Sat­ur­day 24th May 2008. It was al­leged that there was a con­nec­tion be­tween Mr Calder Hart and Sun­way Con­struc­tion Caribbean Lim­it­ed. The ar­ti­cle went on to name di­rec­tors, Lee Hup Ming and Ng Chin Poh as broth­ers-in-law of Mr Hart.

From the above men­tioned news­pa­per ar­ti­cle, I recog­nised Lee Hup Ming (al­so called Al­lan Lee Hup Ming) and Ng Chin Poh (al­so called David Ng Chin Poh) as broth­er and broth­er-in-law re­spec­tive­ly of Mrs Hart. I know this as a fact from my mar­riage to Mrs Hart dur­ing which time they resided in Malaysia and we had sev­er­al con­ver­sa­tions with them via in­ter­net phone, where we would see and con­verse with them at the same time. Dur­ing the time of our mar­riage, how­ev­er, they had nev­er been to Trinidad and I had nev­er been to Malaysia. Apart from con­vers­ing with them on­line, I al­so at times re­ceived mail from them. For ex­am­ple, in 1997, I re­ceived a pack­age ad­dressed to me from Mrs Hart's broth­er, Al­lan Lee Hup Ming, by way of DHL Air­way bill. I am al­so in pos­ses­sion of a copy of an en­ve­lope ad­dressed to Mrs Hart in her maid­en name from her broth­er, Al­lan Lee Hup Ming, at our mat­ri­mo­ni­al ad­dress in May 1998.

In June 1997, I re­ceived three e-mails from the sis­ter of Mrs Hart, Ade­line Lee, via e-mail ad­dress, elitevsg@ppp.na­sionet.net which is the same e-mail ad­dress tak­en by me on the 2nd Feb­ru­ary 2009 off of the cur­rent web­site of Elite Vis­age SDN BHD, a Malaysian com­pa­ny owned by both Ade­line Lee and David Ng Chin Poh. I give this statu­to­ry de­c­la­ra­tion for the pur­pos­es of con­firm­ing that Mrs Hart is the sis­ter of Al­lan Lee Hup Ming, and at the time of our mar­riage, the sis­ter-in-law of David Ng Chin Poh, who are the same per­sons that have been al­leged­ly linked, ac­cord­ing to ar­ti­cles ap­pear­ing in the said news­pa­per, to CH De­vel­op­ment, which al­leged­ly be­came Sun­way Con­struc­tion Caribbean Lim­it­ed.
