Minority Leader Ashworth Jack is calling for a forensic audit into Udecott projects in Tobago.

With three ongoing and one pending, under the Tobago House of Assembly (THA), Jack said Udecott projects should be stopped. Jack said the forensic audit should be done quickly to ensure everything was authenticated for projects to resume. "None of those project in Tobago are ongoing, so they don't need to halt what is already halted...All the projects that Udecott has in Tobago have gone to a halt for a while," he said.

"I think what needs to be done is the issue of the forensic audit, to ensure everything is above board. The hospital is another story altogether." He said accountability for taxpayers' money was the key. "The Scarborough hospital is another story...The last contractor was asking for $150 million and they said it was too much and now the cost of completing the hospital is between $300 million and $500 million."

Ongoing Udecott projects in Tobago are:

2 The Scarborough Financial Complex.

2 The Scarborough Regional Library

2 The Roxborough, Castara and Blenheim Housing projects.

The Scarborough Transit Hub is the only pending Udecott project.
