PNM general secretary Martin Joseph says he has not received any communication from PNM's Diego Martin West constituency regarding a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Patrick Manning. Nor has he received any "motion of confidence" in Manning reportedly emanating from Manning's San Fernando East constituency.

Joseph confirmed the situation yesterday, after a meeting by the Diego Martin West constituency last Monday where attendees agreed to forward a no-confidence motion against Manning to the ruling party's organs.

Officials of the unit said then that the motion from former minister Keith Rowley's constituency was to have been put to PNM's general council which meets Saturday morning. PNM also holds another in its mobilisation meetings on Saturday afternoon at Cascadia Hotel. (GA)
