?Dr Su­ruj Ram­bachan, deputy po­lit­i­cal leader of the UNC, will act as po­lit­i­cal leader in the ab­sence of Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar, who leaves to­day for Mi­a­mi to at­tend meet­ings and speak at a fund-rais­er.

Per­sad-Bisses­sar will be the fea­tured speak­er on Sat­ur­day at the Ware­house Ball­room, Lauder­hill, Flori­da. It is en­ti­tled "An Evening with Kam­la Per­sad-Bisses­sar–Kam­la for Prime Min­is­ter."

She re­turns to Trinidad next week. While in Mi­a­mi, Per­sad-Bisses­sar will meet with na­tion­als of T&T, and sup­port­ers of the UNC. Ram­bachan will be re­spon­si­ble for the UNC in the ab­sence of the po­lit­i­cal leader.
