The Government's intense workshop continued yesterday with highly interactive sessions. The seminar is focused on highly interactive sessions on consensus building, negotiations and conflict management. On Thursday, the presenter was Dr Daniel Shapiro, an internationally recognised expert on the subject.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, her entire Cabinet, Members of Parliament and senators are taking part in the intensive exercise at Coco Reef Hotel in Tobago. A release from the Office of the Prime Minister said Shapiro engaged participants in full house negotiations and related activities during his rigorous presentation, which challenged participants to analyse complex scenarios and come up with solutions to problems presented.
The workshop continued yesterday afternoon, with a session on Governance and the Media, led by journalist Tony Fraser. The workshop began on Thursday afternoon, with a concentrated session facilitated by Dr Aubrey Armstrong, a well known regional management consultant. The retreat session ends tomorrow afternoon.
