The Dis­trict Med­ical Of­fi­cer has ruled the pass­ing of a Port-of-Spain man whose de­com­pos­ing body was found in his apart­ment on Thurs­day, as a sud­den death.

The de­ceased was iden­ti­fied as Ra­jin­dra Sa­hadeo, 55.

Of­fi­cers of the Besson Street Po­lice Sta­tion re­spond­ed to a call around 1:20 pm on May 25 that a man was ly­ing mo­tion­less in a room at Pic­cadil­ly Street, Port-of-Spain.

The in­ves­ti­gat­ing of­fi­cers lat­er had to break down the door to get to the de­ceased, who was found ly­ing on a bed.

A young woman who al­so lives at the same ad­dress, told po­lice she last saw the de­ceased on May 22.
