Crime Scene Investigators have recovered ammunition belonging to the T&T Regiment (TTR) on the scene where 26-year-old Robby Latchmansingh of John Street, Enterprise, was fatally shot.
Police said around 1 am at Crown Trace, Enterprise, he was found dead in his vehicle, a silver Nissan Tiida with licence plate PDB 8646, which was parked near the intersection of Egypt Trace Extension and Crown Trace.
According to sources, officers responding to the scene discovered the car locked and idling, requiring them to force entry.
Once inside, they found Latchmansingh who died from gunshot wounds.
The scene revealed a significant amount of ammunition, including live rounds and spent shell casings.
Notably, several rounds bore markings associated with TTR ammunition, raising further questions about the origin and use of the bullets.
Law enforcement officials are continuing their investigation, examining the source of the TTR-marked ammunition and any potential connections.
No suspects have been identified at this time, and police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward as they work to unravel the circumstances leading to Latchmansingh’s death. - Rhondor Dowlat
