The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) expresses its sincerest condolences to the family of Dr John Prince, former chief executive officer (CEO) of the organisation, on his passing.
Prince was CEO of TATT on two occasions spanning the two-year periods from 2004 to 2006 and 2016 to 2019. Dr Prince has had a long and illustrious career in the Public Service and has served as Permanent Secretary to Ministries such as the Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Finance and the Economy and Ministry of Works and Transport amongst others.
He was the first executive director of the organisation and has, over the years, contributed solidly to the local and international telecommunications community before his return to TATT in 2016.
In recent years, he was chairman of the team working to set up the National Statistical Institute of Trinidad and Tobago and the chairman, Board of Directors of the Tobago Information Technology Limited.
The chairman, board, management and staff of the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago have expressed sincerest condolences and wish his family God’s perfect peace and blessings in this time of grief.
