Team TTO crossed the riv­er Seine dur­ing the open­ing cer­e­mo­ny of the Olympic Games in Paris.

French foot­ball leg­end Zine­dine Zi­dane kicked off the open­ing cer­e­mo­ny with the Olympic flame in his hands and La­dy Gaga de­liv­ered a daz­zling per­for­mance as the first mu­si­cal act.

Ear­li­er, oth­er Caribbean coun­tries al­so crossed the riv­er Seine as the French at­tempt­ed the most am­bi­tious open­ing cer­e­mo­ny in the his­to­ry of the Games. T&T is be­ing rep­re­sent­ed by 17 ath­letes at the Games.
