A teenag­er from Chatham Vil­lage, Ce­dros, es­caped death af­ter two gun­men opened fire on him. The 16-year-old was shot twice but did not suf­fer any life-threat­en­ing in­juries. Ini­tial re­ports say around 6:30 pm on Mon­day he was along Sun­set Beach Road in Point Fortin when he saw two armed men with their faces cov­ered walk­ing from the side of a house.  They then opened fire on him.  He was shot in his left an­kle and right in­step. The sus­pects then ran off. The teen was tak­en to the Point Fortin Hos­pi­tal where he was treat­ed and kept for ob­ser­va­tion. Point Fortin po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing.
