The Transformer-inspired 'Bots' that have arrived in T&T for J'ouvert celebrations in Central Trinidad will be introduced in a street parade in Freeport on Saturday.
The 'Bots' renamed as Samba and Soca Bots will be the main attraction for La Penca's (Freeport) J'ouvert band Kolors Erupt - Bahia Carnival.'
The Bots will roll out for an evening of Carnival innovation on Saturday at 10 pm for Kolors Erupt J’ouvert presentation at La Penca, Highway Plaza, Freeport.
"Witness as giant robots stride through the streets, celebrating our shared spirit of freedom and festivity. With the rhythm of the season pulsing through our circuits, we’ll be graced by the live sounds of Turner, setting the stage for a night of unforgettable energy," a committee member said.
"Our allies, the models, will be showcasing the vibrant Kolors Erupt J’ouvert Wear, a sight not to be missed," the member added.
Both Bots which are nine feet tall are to represent T&T and Brazil carnivals fusing together and will both be joined among the revellers on the morning of February 12 raising the curtains on the greatest show on earth in 2024.
