T&T ref­er­ee Caleb Wales will be of­fi­ci­at­ing his first game in the World Cup in Qatar this Fri­day.

The FI­FA Me­dia Twit­ter to­day an­nounced that Wales will be of­fi­ci­at­ing the Group B game be­tween Wales and Iran at the Ah­mad Bin Ali Sta­di­um.

The game is sched­uled to be played at 6 am on Fri­day.

Wales was list­ed as As­sis­tant Ref­er­ee 1.

He will of­fi­ci­ate along­side Ref­er­ee Mario Es­co­bar, As­sis­tant ref­er­ee Juan Car­los Mo­ra and Fourth of­fi­cial Maguette Ndi­aye.
