Po­lice have ar­rest­ed two men in To­ba­go for the pos­ses­sion of a gun and am­mu­ni­tion.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, just af­ter one on Sat­ur­day af­ter­noon, of­fi­cers of the To­ba­go Di­vi­sion­al Task Force in­ter­cept­ed a blue Mit­subishi Lancer along Wind­ward Road, Bet­sy's Hope.

A search of the ve­hi­cle was con­duct­ed and One Tau­rus Point 40 cal­i­bre pis­tol and a mag­a­zine con­tain­ing am­mu­ni­tion were found.

Both the dri­ver and the pas­sen­ger were held, and the firearm and am­mu­ni­tion were seized.
