The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty) says that cus­tomers in parts of West Trinidad will ex­pe­ri­ence a dis­rup­tion in their wa­ter sup­ply. This is to fa­cil­i­tate emer­gency re­pair works at the Four Roads Pump­ing Sta­tion. De­tails fol­low in this press re­lease from WASA:

The Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty (the Au­thor­i­ty) ad­vis­es cus­tomers in Diego Mar­tin and en­vi­rons served by the Four Roads Pump­ing Sta­tion, who are cur­rent­ly ex­pe­ri­enc­ing an in­ter­rup­tion in their pipe borne wa­ter sup­ply that, this is as a re­sult of me­chan­i­cal prob­lems at the fa­cil­i­ty.

Emer­gency re­pair works cur­rent­ly un­der­way are ex­pect­ed to be com­plet­ed by6:00 p.m. on Fri­day 12th No­vem­ber, 2021.

Ar­eas to be af­fect­ed in­clude:

Good­wood Park, Bayshore, West­moor­ings (North), Morne Co­co Road, Vic­to­ria­Gar­dens, Hill­crest Dri­ve, Union Road, Covi­gne Road, Rich­plain Road, Dan­ger­ous Cor­ner, La Puer­ta Road, Diego Mar­tin Main Road and as­so­ci­at­ed side streets.

The Au­thor­i­ty fur­ther ad­vis­es that it may take up to 24 hours for the ser­vice to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas. For fur­ther in­for­ma­tion or as­sis­tance, cus­tomers can con­tact WASA's Call Cen­tre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
