The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) says that customers in parts of West Trinidad will experience a disruption in their water supply. This is to facilitate emergency repair works at the Four Roads Pumping Station. Details follow in this press release from WASA:
The Water and Sewerage Authority (the Authority) advises customers in Diego Martin and environs served by the Four Roads Pumping Station, who are currently experiencing an interruption in their pipe borne water supply that, this is as a result of mechanical problems at the facility.
Emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by6:00 p.m. on Friday 12th November, 2021.
Areas to be affected include:
Goodwood Park, Bayshore, Westmoorings (North), Morne Coco Road, VictoriaGardens, Hillcrest Drive, Union Road, Covigne Road, Richplain Road, Dangerous Corner, La Puerta Road, Diego Martin Main Road and associated side streets.
The Authority further advises that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas. For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA's Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
